The Body Knows First · Laboratory of Life · Reflection

What is my body trying to tell me?

What is my body trying to tell me — that my mind keeps overriding?

The body does not lie. It also does not shout. It signals — through tightness, fatigue, restlessness, sudden hunger, the urge to leave the room.

We are taught to dismiss these signals as inconvenience.

The body is patient. It will say the same thing for years, in quieter and louder ways, until it is heard.

  • — What has my body been saying for months that I keep filing under "not now"?
  • — What would change if I listened to it as if it were a wise friend?
