Morning Orientation

A 7-step gentle reading to begin the day with clarity.

Purpose

Begin the day from a grounded, intentional state rather than from reaction.

The Seven Steps

1. Arrival

Sit for a moment. Notice the room.

2. Breath

Three slow cycles. No counting, no effort.

3. Orientation

Name, silently: where I am, what day it is, what matters most.

4. Clarity

Write one sentence: the most important thing for today.

5. Boundary

Decide what you will not do today.

6. Commitment

Agree with yourself. No bargaining.

7. Close

Stand up slowly. Begin.

This protocol is intentionally short. Keep it under four minutes.
