Who Do You Think You Are?

Who do I think I am — and who told me not to?

"Who do you think you are?" was usually a sentence delivered to stop us. It worked.

We learned to keep ourselves smaller than the room.

The question is worth asking again, without the cruelty in the voice.

Reflection

  • — What would change if I stopped apologising for being it?
