Plant
What seed do I keep in my pocket and never put in the ground?
Planting is the smallest act and the most exposed. The seed is committed the moment it touches soil. There is no taking it back.
We carry many seeds — ideas, apologies, asks, beginnings — and we polish them in the dark because the dark feels safer than the field.
To plant is to accept that the ground may not be ready, and to do it anyway.
Reflection
- — What have I been preparing for so long that the preparing has become the project?
- — What would change if I planted today instead of researched?
