Where do I belong when I am not earning my place?
Belonging is not the same as fitting in. Fitting in costs you yourself. Belonging does not.
We learn early that love is conditional, and we spend a lifetime auditioning.
The root of belonging grows when we agree to be inconveniently ourselves in the rooms we want to stay in.
