Be Realistic
Whose realism was that, and was it ever realistic for me?
"Be realistic" is often a translation of "do not make me uncomfortable with your hope".
Realism is useful when it is honest. It is corrosive when it is fear in a tidy coat.
There is a real difference between feet on the ground and feet in cement.
