Recognize
Can I see the mask as a mask — and still be kind to the one who wears it?
Recognition here is not exposure. It is gentleness.
The mask was a survival shape. We do not shame survival.
We see the mask, we thank it, and we slowly let it become optional rather than automatic.
Reflection
- — When I see my mask clearly, what does my face do?
- — Where am I ready to let it become optional?
